Contact Lens Fitting in Kathmandu | Daily, Toric & Multifocal Lenses

Professional Contact Lens Assessment & Fitting

Contact lenses sit directly on the eye, so choosing lenses based only on spectacle power may not always be appropriate. Contact-lens fitting can involve reviewing prescription, visual requirements, lens design, comfort and handling needs.

Where required, Vision Concern's optometry team can perform an eye examination and help determine appropriate contact-lens options.

Types of Contact Lenses Available in Kathmandu

Daily Contact Lenses

Daily disposable contact lenses are designed to be worn once and discarded after use. They can be convenient for travellers, occasional wearers and people who prefer not to clean and store reusable lenses.

Availability depends on prescription, brand and current stock.

Monthly Contact Lenses

Monthly replacement contact lenses are designed for repeated wear during the recommended replacement period and require appropriate cleaning, disinfection and storage.

Wearers should follow the replacement schedule and care instructions provided for the specific lens.

Toric Contact Lenses for Astigmatism

Toric contact lenses are designed for selected prescriptions involving astigmatism. Because toric lenses require additional parameters, availability depends on prescription and lens design.

A proper assessment can help determine whether a toric lens may be suitable.

Multifocal Contact Lenses

Multifocal contact lenses may be suitable for selected adults who need both distance and near correction.

Adaptation and visual expectations can vary, so fitting and follow-up are important.

Colour Contact Lenses

Vision Concern can provide guidance on selected cosmetic and prescription colour contact lenses according to product availability.

Colour lenses should still be treated as contact lenses and used with appropriate hygiene, handling and replacement practices.

Contact Lens Brands

Vision Concern provides selected international contact-lens brands according to prescription and availability. Product selection may include lenses from established manufacturers and specialist contact-lens suppliers.

Send your current lens box or exact product details on WhatsApp if you are looking for a specific brand or replacement.
