The right choice depends on prescription, frame fit, lens design, material, coating, working distance and lifestyle.
Eyeglass Frames in Kathmandu

Prescription Lens Options
| Lens Type | Typical Use |
|---|---|
| Single Vision | Distance or near prescription correction |
| Progressive Lenses | Distance, intermediate and near vision in one lens |
| Bifocal Lenses | Distance and near correction with visible segment |
| High-Index Lenses | Thinner lens options for suitable higher prescriptions |
| Computer / Office Lenses | Intermediate and near visual tasks |
| Photochromic Lenses | Lenses that darken under suitable UV exposure |
| Prescription Sunglasses | Sun protection combined with prescription correction |
Progressive Lenses in Kathmandu
Progressive lenses provide multiple viewing zones without the visible line of a traditional bifocal. Accurate prescription, fitting height, pupillary measurements and frame selection are important for good performance.
High-Index Thin Prescription Lenses
For suitable stronger prescriptions, high-index lens materials can help reduce lens thickness and weight compared with some standard materials.
ZEISS & Premium Lens Options
Vision Concern provides selected premium prescription-lens options including ZEISS products according to prescription, visual requirements and availability.
Lens recommendations should be based on genuine need rather than simply choosing the most expensive product.
Prescription Sunglasses
Prescription sunglasses combine corrective power with sun protection and may be particularly useful for driving, travel, trekking and outdoor activities.
Computer & Digital-Use Glasses
People working long hours on computers may benefit from prescription review and lens options suited to their usual working distance.
The correct solution depends on the person's actual prescription, work setup and visual needs.

If your prescription is old, your vision has changed or you are experiencing headaches, blurry vision or eye strain, a professional eye examination may be appropriate before making new glasses.
